Voigt-Abernathy Company was founded as D.B. Gooch & Associates in
1946, and operated throughout the 1940's and 50's as a manufacturer's
representative of quality process equipment & service. In 1963, ownership transitioned to William C. Voigt Jr. and H.C.
England, Jr., who led the company into unprecedented growth with their focused sales efforts on our product lines, and by eventually adding distribution and warehousing capability.
Throughout the 1970's and 80's, Voigt-Abernathy prospered due to
organic sales growth of our products, plus diversification, with the
addition of engineered systems and shop repair capabilities.

In 1993, the ownership of the Company entered its second generation. Since that time, we have invested heavily into personnel and technology that will help us maintain our position as a market leader for the industries that we serve. In response to the fast-growing service and systems sector of our business, the company established new offices in Trussville, AL in January of 2003. With approximately 15,000 square feet of combined shop and office space, our new facility establishes the infrastructure required to repair large pumps, to perform hydraulic pump testing, and to design/manufacture large engineered systems.
